Diagnose Me: Cases in Shortness of Breath, Vascular Emergencies, and Back Pain or Just Another Monday

We will walk through three common presentations seen daily in primary care: seemingly simple presentations of worsening cough with shortness of breath, a vascular emergency, and back pain. Each requires teasing out a careful history and physical examination to discern the underlying pathophysiology. We will also describe the pertinent positives and negatives to meet the standard of care, along with requisite testing to successfully make an accurate diagnosis.
