Biography

Dr. Laila Woc-Colburn is an associate professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases, Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Woc-Colburn is a passionate clinical educator since her fellowship days at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. After a successful career at Baylor College of Medicine where she received several clinical and teaching awards, she moved to oversee the OPAT clinical and Orthopedics-Infectious Diseases Fellowship at Emory. She has a wide range of interests including tropical medicine, HIV, mycosis, and medical education. Her passion is to teach the next generation of health workers about infectious diseases topics.
