Biography

Dr. Alexis Smith is a partner at Novant Health, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine in Charlotte, North Carolina. She completed her pulmonary and critical care fellowship at Wake Forest University. Dr. Smith has published and presented both basic and clinical research in peer reviewed publications and at professional meetings in areas ranging from cellular and neurobiologic pathways to clinical aspects of biologics for respiratory disorders. Also, Dr. Smith’s clinical practice is devoted to patients with severe airways disease. She has extensive experience and clinical expertise in utilizing biologics in the treatment of patients with Severe Uncontrolled Asthma.
