Biography
Konstantinos Siontis, MD, is an Associate Professor of Medicine and practicing Board-certified cardiac electrophysiologist at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN. His clinical practice and research work focus on the prognosis and invasive management of arrhythmias, with special interests in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, inflammatory cardiomyopathies, and other sudden cardiac death-predisposing conditions. He has led or co-led the development and translation to practice of ECG-based deep learning applications for the detection and phenotyping of cardiovascular disease within the Mayo Cardiology AI group. He has published approximately 190 peer-reviewed articles including in journals such as JAMA, Lancet, Annals of Internal Medicine, Circulation, JACC, and European Heart Journal. He serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Interventional Cardiac Electrophysiology, Arrhythmia & Electrophysiology Review, and EHJ Digital Health. He is a member of the Scientific Documents Committee of the Heart Rhythm Society.
