Biography
I am triple-board certified in internal medicine, psychiatry, and palliative care, with a deep commitment to improving care for people living with both serious medical illness and mental health conditions. My clinical practice at Bellevue Hospital, a major public hospital in New York City, centers on integrated, person-centered care for complex, high-need populations-including individuals facing homelessness, poverty, and structural barriers to care. The integration of psychiatric knowledge and techniques into both inpatient and outpatient medicine settings is one of my main professional passions. I attended medical school at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, completed a combined Internal Medicine and Psychiatry residency at Emory University in Atlanta, GA, and a Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowship at Mount Sinai Icahn School of Medicine in New York City.
