Biography

Dr. Peter Lin is the Director of Primary Care Initiatives at the Canadian Heart Research Centre. He is also a contributing author to the Canadian Diabetes Guidelines 2013 and 2018 on the vascular protection section. He is also Associate Editor for the Elsevier Web Portal – Practice Update Primary Care. Dr. Lin has lectured extensively on diabetes, CV disease, lipids, asthma, COPD, cancers, drug interactions, herb interactions, vaccinations, dementia and Artificial Intelligence (The Good, The Bad and The Ugly). He has worked with KDIGO in order to help improve care for CKD patients. He reaches out to the public with his role as a medical contributor to the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) which is the national news agency in Canada.
