Biography
Jennifer D. Goldman, RPh, PharmD, CDCES, BC-ADM, FCCP, is Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) in Boston. Dr. Goldman is a clinical pharmacist and the clinical director of the Cardiometabolic Program at Well Life Medical in Peabody, MA, where she trains and precepts Doctor of Pharmacy students and post-graduate residents and fellows. She earned her BS and PharmD degrees at MCPHS and has been a practicing pharmacist for over 30 years. She completed her residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Boston, is board certified in Advanced Diabetes Management and is a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. She is a fellow of the American College of Clinical Pharmacists and has presented at multiple national and international pharmacy and medical conferences. Dr. Goldman has authored numerous publications in the areas of cardiometabolic and related disorders; she serves on the editorial board for Clinical Diabetes and is a reviewer for several other journals. Dr. Goldman has received many honors and awards, including MCPHS Faculty Awards for Scholarship of Application, Scholarship of Integration/Engagement, Faculty Preceptor of the Year, Faculty Teacher of the Year, Trustees Award for Teaching Excellence, the Long-Term Service Award, in addition to a recognition for teaching in Family Medicine by the American Academy of Family Physicians.
