OVERVIEW

The “war on cancer” began 50 years ago, but despite significant advancements in therapeutics, the oncology community has not yet been able to declare victory. While important progress has been made in essential, life-saving single-cancer screenings, early detection technology still only exists for a few cancers. Multi-cancer early detection technology has the ability to screen for over 50 types of cancer. We will explore current cancer screening methods and how these new technologies may improve cancer mortality rates.
