Biography

Medical Director USMA COVID Therapeutics, GSK President & CEO York Hospital, Maine Dr. Taylor serves GSK as a consultant US Medical Director of COVID Therapeutics. He is also the President and CEO of York Hospital in Maine. He is a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician. Over a 30 year career, he served in various roles including Chief Department of Emergency Medicine, Chief Medical Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and as a Regional President and CEO. Dr. Taylor also provided senior administrative and medical leadership consulting to Catholic Health Services, South Florida, as part of the Emergency Incident Command Team’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Taylor attended the University of Notre Dame, received his medical degree from Duke University, completed his emergency medicine residency at the Georgetown/George Washington/University of Maryland and subsequently received an MBA from Florida Atlantic University.
