Biography

Dr. Jerald Simmons is triple board certified in neurology, sleep and epilepsy. He attended medical school at Ohio State University and did a residency in neurology at Washington University, Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Dr. Simmons completed a fellowship in sleep disorder medicine at Stanford University Medical Center and a second fellowship in epilepsy at UC Davis. He was an assistant professor at UCLA while co-directing the UCLS Sleep Disorders Center in the 1990s. After moving to Texas , Dr. Simmons founded and continues to direct Comprehensive Sleep Medicine Associates and REST Technologies, Inc. He also founded and directs the Sleep Education Consortium. Dr. Simmons is published in various journals on sleep disorders, EEG and other related topics
