Biography

Mandel R. Sher, MD is Clinical Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics at University of South Florida College of Medicine. He maintains a community-based allergy practice with the embedded Center for Cough located in St. Petersburg, Fl area. Center for Cough has seen over 2,000 adults with chronic cough. Dr. Sher earned an MD from Northwestern University and completed his residency at Duke University and Boston Children’s Hospital. He completed a fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the University of Michigan. Dr. Sher is board certified in Pediatrics and Allergy and Immunology. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology. Dr. Sher has participated as the Principal Investigator in multiple clinical trials focusing on chronic cough. His research has been widely published in the European Respiratory Journal; The Lancet Respiratory Medicine; Annals of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and others.
