Biography

Dr. Giza is a graduate of West Virginia University School of Medicine and completed his internship at the University of Pennsylvania. He completed both a neurology residency and a pediatric neurology fellowship at UCLA, and served on the Yosemite Search and Rescue team from 1996-97. He is supported by grants from NIH/NINDS, Thrasher Pediatric Research Foundation, Winokur Family Foundation/Child Neurology Foundation and NFL Charities. His clinical and research interests are in traumatic brain injury, neuroplasticity, sports concussions, seizures/epilepsy and headaches.
